Organizations such as mines, transport agencies and utilities often cover vast areas, working across different sites. When these particular areas and sites operate on different networks or frequency bands, staying connected can become complicated. The new Tait TM9356 dual band mobile radio makes it easy to switch between analog and DMR Tier 2 bands, and enables you to communicate through a single control head.
Firefighters, police officers and first responders depend on instant, reliable communications to stay connected when out in the field. However, different networks or frequency bands can complicate a unified and coordinated response. The new Tait TM9456 dual band radio makes it easy to switch between different P25 networks and frequency bands and enables you to communicate through a single control head.
The P25 CAP (Compliance Assessment Program) allows P25 vendors to confirm their products meet the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) standard for interoperability. Tait is a major supporter of open standards, and with the addition of our latest products now has the most extensive listing on the DHS website.

The only interoperability processes that will be effective in an emergency are those that are well known to your users. Expensive patching devices, ISSI (Inter-Sub-System Interfaces) and extra groups or channels in the radios will not help unless your users understand how to take advantage of them.
Keep your processes simple and make sure all your users are well trained.
Do not spend large sums of money on high tech devices when the best solutions may be operational.
